Occasional Observations

One interesting phenomenon of my now-much-loved E61 is that it takes an awfully long time to boot, but only when running on batteries. Side-by-side with Vista on my laptop, it’s a dead-heat to the logon screens. But when the E61 is on mains, it boots in a few seconds. Perhaps there’s some battery level check going on before the device reaches full readiness?
